Îles sacrées et fruits de mer frais

Zhoushan est le plus grand archipel de Chine, composé de plus d'un millier d'îles au large des côtes du Zhejiang. Il abrite le mont Putuo, l'une des quatre montagnes sacrées bouddhistes de Chine et un haut lieu de pèlerinage dédié au bodhisattva Guanyin, ainsi qu'une économie de pêche séculaire qui façonne encore la cuisine locale.

Mount Putuo
One of China's Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains, occupying its own island and dedicated to Guanyin, the bodhisattva of compassion. Home to several major monasteries and a large coastal statue of Guanyin facing out to sea.

Fresh catch straight from one of China's most productive fishing grounds, served at harborside restaurants and markets — from simply steamed fish to regional specialties built around shellfish and small fried fish.
Zhoushan's Island Beaches
Sand beaches scattered across the archipelago's many islands, including well-known stretches on Putuo Island itself, offering a quieter coastal alternative to mainland China's more developed beach resorts.
